It's been FOREVER since I've posted, but three kids will do that to ya! So here are some pics of what we have been up to:

Mercury game! It was totally awesome, we were like two rows back right behind their bench! I high fived like every cool player on their team when they came out after halftime, definitely the best game I've been to!

Sadie loves to play in Anna's room, and it gives me a little time where I don't have to hold her, so I love it too!

Life has been busy and so much fun lately. Besides what is posted we have been busy with birthdays,church callings, swim lessons, a Vegas trip while dad was in the hospital, my mom coming out, practices and getting Anna ready for dance, which starts next week!! I just wanted to take time to document some of the things that we've been doing.

We recently took a trip to Vegas to visit my dad, it was a lot of fun. We did a lot of things: zoo, chocolate factory, dinner, and the Dino Park. Picture were taken by everyone, these are some of the ones from Gordon's phone at the Dino Park

Kenny played some T-Ball this spring, and while he probably enjoyed soccer more, he kept telling us he was having fun, so that's good. He was definitely the kid who picked grass, but he had fun making friends. His best friend Ryan was on the team with him, so that was fun.

I haven't blogged much lately (difficult with a baby), but I love my life. I may not document everything, but I have a blast with my family, they bring me so much happiness every day and I just enjoy being around them and playing with them. Being a mom is the best; I get to be a Nighlok (bad guy from Power Rangers), a coach helping Kenny with his exercises, a singer, a dancer, a cook...anything with my babies. Here are just some every day pics

So, it's been a month since Sadie has arrived and I haven't put up any pictures yet, but now that Gordon has transfered them from my phone to the computer I can put some up! Yay!

Sadie and Daddy in the hospital. It took forever to get out of that place because I had a fever during labor (flu), and so they did blood work on Sadie, and we had to wait an extra day to leave, I hate the hospital!

Gordon is so good with babies; he has lots of experience with all his siblings, but he is a great help.

Having three kids is pretty exhausting, but I think it is important to try to spend one on one time with each throughout the day. Sometimes it is hard, but Anna and Sadie both nap so I'm able to get it done! Just no down time for mommy! Sometimes I give myself time out and relax to watch TV or read for a little bit while I nurse Sadie. Here are a couple of pictures of my older babes!

Valentine's day was pretty non-existent this year because of Sadie, but we did manage to do some things for each other. Gordon surprised me with an Edible arrangement, which I LOVED! It was delicious.

Having a baby always makes me love my husband so much more than I ever thought possible. I love my babies, but I am so happy it is me and him for eternity!

Kenny's first soccer practice, and other stuff

Kenny had his first soccer practice today, and it was so much fun! I love having children old enough to participate in activities. He did such a good job too, we have a really great team, and all the parents are nice too.

Yes, he got pushed down by accident..the spacing wasn't that great, but he got back up and still played. It was pretty sad for a moment though!

The coach kicked the balls out and the kids had to go to their ball and kick it back all the way to the coach, no hands, Kenny did pretty good.

While Kenny has his soccer, our little Anna gets to start dance in June! I'm really excited, we went to one of their classes a couple of days ago, and it was a lot of fun, and the instructors were really nice to the kids.

In other news:

Anna is all alone in Nursery now! She seemed to do very well though.

My big Kenny man is now a Sunbeam!!!! It is so fun to watch him in primary!

Happy 5th Anniversary to me and Gordon!!!! Todd came over at nap time and Gordon and I went to this lunch place in an orchard, it was pretty cute. And then when the kids went to bed Sean stayed with them, and we went to the movies. I love my husband!!!!

This year has started off great! I love that my kids are getting involved in stuff and learning and growing. I love being a mommy!

Christmas was so much fun this year! Kenny and Anna are having tons of fun with there presents. This post is mainly just for family far away, so they can see pictures, so it's going to be a lot of pictures!

Last night Kenny was so excited to open a present, and then when he found out it was PJ's and not Megatron, he was very sad, after about an hour he finally got over it, but it was pretty dramatic!

This is my absolute favorite picture! Gordon got Kenny a soccer net to practice with, and this is Kenny celebrating after making a goal! (Yes, those are my shoes)

Kenny and Ironman...the two things he wanted for Christmas was Megatron and Ironman, and then last minute he got way into Power Rangers, and needed pink ranger to complete the set; luckily grandma and grandpa got it for him!

I love this time in my life where I have kids old enough to enjoy Christmas, and learn the story of Jesus and Christmas songs too. My family is wonderful, and I feel very blessed!

Snowing in Mesa (yes, you read correctly!)

There is a place you can go in Tempe where it "snows" (foam bubbly stuff) for 8 minutes at 7pm and 8pm. Kenny was wanting some snow, so we went with the family one night, and it was a lot of fun! They had a really big, pretty Christmas tree in the middle of it all.

Kenny and Emma had a lot of fun playing together in the 8 minute snow, at least for the 3 minutes of it that Kenny was happy!

So this post is super long and a little disorganized because it takes so much time to get the pictures up and type everything...so pretty much this is a random order of things!
First, Kenny, Anna, and I tagged along with Gordon to California when he had to go to a conference for work. It was so much fun, I love going home! Here is Kenny playing with Ali, one of the girl's I use to babysit. We also got to go to her basketball game where she made the first basket!

One day we went to the park with my sister and mom, and Anna went down the slide by herself for the first time!

Every time Kenny would get off the slide he would run over to cousin Pru and give her tickles and say hi to her, it was pretty cute!

Kenny is a pro at sliding and did the big slide the whole time.

Before we went to the park, mom, Kasey and I had lunch at the hometown pizza place. The kids were too busy playing games to eat...Anna did manage to suck a lot of ranch off her bread stick though!

In case anyone doesn't know, Kenny and Skylar (dog) are inseparable when we go home. He loves to play with him, his favorite games include doctor, and hide and seek...yes, with the dog! He calls Skylar his dog; they are so cute together.

The Monday after Thanksgiving, Gordon and I went to Monday Night Football, third row! We stunk it up, but it was still fun! Thanks to Todd for watching the kids and putting them to bed!

Right when we moved into the house we put up our Christmas tree, Kenny had a blast, Anna kind of did her own thing.

While un-packing some things in our room, the kids would run into our closet and shut the door, so Gordon opened it one time and saw this...so we had to take a picture of it! They are to cute!

We were also in California for Halloween! Anna was Minnie Mouse and Kenny was Optimus Prime. During the little parade before the trunk-or-treat, Anna danced on the table..pretty cute!

Kenny won the cake walk!!!! I didn't know what a cake walk was, but we did it anyways. At first I thought it was musical chairs, but nobody got left out, when the music stopped they just all sat in a seat and the person picked a random seat number from a bag...and it was Kenny's! He was so excited! The first thing he said was, " I need to go home and show Skylar"!

Halloween Costumes

This year Kenny is....Optimus Prime!!! He is way in to robots right now, and loves transformer, power rangers, and basically any super hero. He had his choice between Dash (The Incredibles), Spiderman (whom he also loves), and Optimus...and he chose Optimus. Here are a couple of shots of him in his costume:

Anna is Minnie Mouse. She loves anything Mickey Mouse, Wonder Pets, and especially Dora! I really wanted to find a Dora for her...I guess there is still time, but on this day we got her Minnie, and I think she is the cutest Minnie in the world!!!

This is just a super cute shot of them watching Wonder Pets together on the couch, we did not tell them to pose or anything, Kenny just likes to lay on the top of the couch.

A couple of days ago Kenny randomly came up to me and showed me this face, and it cracked me up because I use to do this face all the time!!! He is so stinkin cute!

On Saturday Anna and I hit the town and did some shopping! Before that though we had to fuel up on yummy banana chocolate chip muffins and go-gurt. She dug into that muffin!

Next, we rode the carousel a couple of times. Here she is waiting in line:

After the carausel, we moved onto the main event...shopping!!! We went into a few different stores, but in the end got Anna a couple of new pairs of shoes...she LOVES shoes (and necklaces)

I was sorely tempted to add this third pair into the bunch, but had second thoughts because Gordon has his opinions on what Anna can and cannot wear, and I wasn't sure if animal print fit into the yes or no in his mind...but we might just go back and get them!

Anna enjoyed the whole shoe buying experience, she was a doll getting her little foot measured and even got a sticker that said her size. If Anna ever has a sticker she like to decorate her self, as so:

Anna is a pro-shopper and carries the bags all by herself....seriously, she won't let you help at all!

While Anna and I were having our fun, Kenny and Gordon had a special day at the movies. Gordon took Kenny to see "Despicable Me", which if you haven't seen, we highly recommend! He loved it. Kenny got special snacks and a cool booster chair.

After the movie Kenny and Gordon went to the game area and played some games.

This is a game he saw some older kids doing, and then though he would give it a try!

That that we had the annual ice cream social at church, it was so much fun. Gordon took a little shot of the weather:

Kenny was not in a picture taking mood, as you can see, but he did have a lot of fun running around with his friends and of course, eating lots of ice cream!

Luckily, our little Anna angel is always up for taking pictures at this stage in her life, so we snapped a few of her...yes, only a few, because shortly after the social started she pooped on everything, so she went pantless and shoeless the rest of the time! It was still fun though!!!

Grandpa came down to visit for a few days, and this is the first time that the kids actually played with him and let him hold them. I know it made him so happy!

Kenny also got a new bed!!! He absolutely LOVES it (and Anna loves it too). His bed came complete with a surprise Toy Story Blanket, he loves going to bed every night!

Gordon surprised us with a giant "I Love You Cookie"! It really made us so happy, the kids LOVED it. On the cookie there were three stars with each of our names in them, Kenny wanted to eat his star first, so he did.

British Columbia Day 3

So this entry will start from end of day to beginning. This is Gordon and me eating out:

Earlier today we did the most coolest, most funnest thing on the planet! We went to a place called Wild Play and did these obstacles in the trees...now it may not look high up, but it was! Anyways, here are some pics:

BC Day 2

Today is our second day of vacation and we traveled to Victoria! We slept in, only to call home and find out that our kids were still sleeping! I don't know what grandma is feeding them, but we need her secret! Anyways, after we called we ate a yummy breakfast the Susan made for us.

There was a little beach by Susan's house...I mean really little, but it was pretty so we took some pictures.

We also stopped at the Buddhist temple, it was the same one that Gordon took pictures by while on his mission, so that was pretty cool.

We also did some shopping today. We got a few things for the kids and Gordon found the famous Ketchup flavored chips he has told me about (which we did not buy). Plus, he found loads of candy that apparently cannot be found in Mesa (which we did buy).

The ferry ride was the most beautiful thing I have ever done, it was just gorgeous out on the water. After breakfast with Susan and a ride on the Sky Train, we went on the ferry.

They have everything on the ferry, shopping, spa and lots of food. I wasn't hungry, so I just watched Gordon eat.

I was expecting a nice ferry ride, but Gordon wanted to be up and about that thing, so we hardly had any down time, but it was a lot of fun!

After our shopping we went to see "The Karate Kid", we loved it, it was a really cute movie. And now we are going to get some sleep, and we are determined to sleep longer than the kids!

Day 1, BC, Canada!

Our flight was wonderful, very smooth. We had some trouble with the rental car reservation we made, turns out they don't take debit, just credit, so we had to go to a totally different agency and get a new car, so that kind of stunk, but we have a car and it works great. Today Gordon took me to Tim Horton's, which serves sandwiches, soups, and donuts! It was really good, he compares it to a McDonald's in America, because they are everywhere here.

Then we went to the Vancouver temple which was beautiful. We didn't spend much time taking pictures though, because it was freezing! I asked Gordon how I should pack and he said it was going to be hot...needless to say the one pair of jeans I brought will be getting a lot of use. Anyways, here are some pictures of Tim Horton's and the temple. We also went to Boston Pizza for dinner and watched game 7 of the NBA finals, and that was fun too, now I am so tired!

So it's been awhile since I have blogged (Anna's Birthday)! We have so much to catch up on, so I decided to go from past to present. After Anna's birthday we went to California for my friend's wedding. It was so much fun! I really miss living there. Kenny had a blast, he has always loved dogs, but Susan's dogs take the cake, he LOVES Skylar and Roxy...he even still talks about them. Anyways, here are some pics from our trip (a small portion of them!):

Anna'a Birthday!

Our special little girl turned one yerterday! We love her so much and am so happy that she can be ours. She really is just an angel. She just had her check-up today and is still in the 25th percentile for weight and 95th for height, and she can now go in her forward facing car seat!! Woohoo! Anyways, here are some pics...we kind of had two parties: one was the Saturday before her birthday with all the family (everyone was in town), and then on her actual birthday we went to the park and had food and played. Thanks to Uncle Sean for taking pictures.

The weather has been so good lately that Kenny always wants to go outside and ride his bike, and since we couldn't really go outside too much last year (because Anna was a newborn and it was too hot), I am definitely going to take advantage this year and play with the kids outside as much as possible! So here are a couple of pictures of the kids riding Kenny's bike.

With Kenny, it's all about safety first! He insisted on wearing his "helmet", which is really a monster's Inc. hard hat! He refused to use his pedals because last time he used his pedals outside he fell sideways into the rocks...I tried to encourage him as much as possible, but to no avail!

Anna has to have her turn, because anything Kenny does or wants, she needs too!

Right now there is a carnival at the mall, and we had to go. Kenny tried for like 10 minutes to get up this darn net. Gordon and I both thought he would get like half way and then start crying (it's kind of high), or just totally fall off of it, but he worked so hard and did it! Victory! At one point when he was half way up the thing, like four kids in a row started climbing it, and I was so scared they were going to knock him off! There was a height limit, so I'm pretty sure he was the youngest in there, and those older kids scared me!

One night we went on a double date with the parents, and Stephanie and Sarah and Jill watched the kids. Anna was a pill, but in the end she fell asleep and when we walked in this was the cutest picture, so I had to take it.

Kenny absolutely adores Jill, I love seeing them together, Jill puts up with a lot from Kenny, she really is so nice to him.

Sorry, this is a long post, but it would not be complete without some pictures from Aria's zoo party. This is Anna being thrown in the air by Gordon!

Kenny is way into African wildlife, even when we sing Old MacDonald, Kenny always chooses to have on the farm zebras ( which say, crackalackin here and there), giraffes (which say roar) and monkeys. He cracks me up! Here we are looking at the giraffes.

And of course he needed to ride the carousel...he normally is afraid of it, but this time he wanted to ride it...thank you OSO!

So I haven't blogged in awhile, life has been pretty normal, and pictures have all been on our phones! Anyways, nothing to interesting is happening here (totally not complaining!), Gordon's job is great, I'm doing good and the kids are wonderful. Hopefully with St Patrick's Day, Anna's Birthday, and then Easter and California coming up we can get loads of pictures and cute stories to post, but for now here are some pics of just normal life with the babes!

We discovered that Anna likes pizza! She likes it whole, not cut up!

Kenny is potty training right now. He FINALLY pooped in the potty today!!! As of right now, he does all his business in the real potty in the bathroom, he loves to wash his hands, and tells me when he needs to go about half the time. We are making great progress with him. All we need to figure out now is how to keep him dry through the night...and have him tell us when he needs to go 100% of the time! I am very impressed, I haven't even had to throw away a whole pack of underwear yet...I was prepared for the worst after hearing so many stories. Anyway, Kenny is such a stinkin cutie in his underwear, so here are some pics. It's hard to take pictures of him right now due to his inability to stand still, but we tried!

I love getting shots of them playing together, which they do all the time. Anna is to Kenny what Kenny is to Jill, in a way. She follows him everywhere, even if he doesn't want her to, and she does what he wants when he wants her to, it is so funny. Example: Kenny likes to "run run". He tells Anna to chase him and starts running around the couch; Anna then starts crawling around the couch, and they both laugh and scream...it is too cute. Kenny is like lapping her, but he totally thinks she is chasing him. Anyways, here are some pics of my babies together:

1. My husband! I love being with him. I never get tired of him, the happiest thought I have is that I get to be with him for eternity.

2. Number one and two tie in together...I love the gospel. It fills me with such joy and happiness. There is never a time when I read scriptures or talks and don't come out of it feeling good. The knowledge and testimony of my heavenly Father and Jesus Christ make me so happy.

3. My Kenny and my Anna make me so happy everyday! Even if the day isn't going well, I think to myself: I'd rather have a bad day with my kids, because a bad day with them is better than any day without them. It's hard to put into words, I guess.

4. This might sound superficial, but shopping makes me happy! I don't even have to buy anything, although I would prefer to. I love to shop!

5. Reading is my most favorite hobby. I love reading, a good book makes me happy!

6. My me time makes me happy! If it's a rough day, Gordon watches the kids or takes them out, and I can sleep, shower, read, and/or watch my recorded 7th Heaven and What Not to Wear. It may be selfish, but my me time makes me happy!

7. Holidays make me happy! Gordon gets time off work and family comes to town!

8. Surprise dates, presents or secret service! My husband if wonderful at making me happy and doing these things!

9. Babies make me happy, I love when friend and family have new babies! Babies are always happy!

10. Eating makes me happy...a Panda Express meal, and I am all smiles!

9 Month Check-up!

My little Anna cakes is 9 months today! She had her check-up this morning- no shots, yay! But they did prick her toe and take some blood to check iron levels. She did such a good job throughout the check-up, better then Kenny ever does, at least! She is 17 lbs 8oz (25%), and 29.25 inches long (95%) and her head is at 50%. She is our big girl! Currently she is crawling like a pro, and even trying to pull herself up. Gordon walked in one morning to find her standing in her crib and crying, she got starltled when Gordon walked in and fell down, pretty cute. She is starting real human food, she eats anything! And she is one tough cookie. Last night she feel and got a bloody nose with the babysitter and didn't cry (I freaked out a bit when I heard the report), and a few nights ago while I was bathing her she totally fell face first in the tub and rolled over (don't worry, I got her), I almost freaked out, whipped her up into my lap, and was about to cuddle her when I realized she was reaching for the drain to play with it again! She's a doll; she loves music and dancing (yes, she bops up and down!) We love our little angel and am so happy she is ours! Some 9 month pics:

On Sunday the kids wore their Christmas outfits, and Isabelle took some great pictures of us together. The pictures turned out great, we are so lucky to have such a talented sister! Thanks Isabelle!

During Thanksgiving week, everyone went swimming at our pool in the apartments. It was cool out, definately not swimming weather, but the pool was heated, so it was ok.

Mommy and Anna sat out on the side, too cold for mommy and Anna to swim!

In case you are wondering, yes, Kenny is wearing two swim suits! He likes to wear both, and I like to help encourage his creative side by letting him choose what he wants to wear. He cracks me up!

Zoo Trip

Gordon finally got the pics from my phone to the computer, so now I can blog again! Yay! A few weeks ago grandma and aunt Stephanie took us to the zoo. It was really special for Kenny, who hardly ever gets one on one time with his grandma, and who loves his aunt Stephanie. It was a lot of fun, Kenny loved the giraffes and zebras. He had to see them in that order too, giraffes then zebras. The zebras were on the way to the giraffes, so we stopped, but he wanted nothing to do with them, so we went to the giraffes, and after like five or ten minutes he says he is now ready for the zebras! The little stinker! He is sweet though, and it was his special day. Grandma and Stephanie also brought yummy snacks. We also visited the petting zoo, and Kenny was so brave and pet the goats, with grandmas help. It was also fun for Anna because it was her first time at the zoo! Anyway, we took lots of pictures and had lots of fun!

A few weeks ago we went to Jeepers (an indoor amusement park type place with food). It was a lot of fun!

Kenny loved seeing "Nemo and Dory"! He kept asking me to "open please" the fish tank!

He also enjoyed all the big plastic animals, Marty being his favorite! For those who don't know, Marty is the Zebra's name in Madagascar, a favorite in our house.

This past Wednesday our ward had a trunk-or-treat, and it was so much fun! Before the event, we went to grandmas for a little costume photo shoot. We had two costumes for Anna (duck and bee), she ended up being a bee because the duck was a bit small for her. It was a lot of fun, I wish the pics of Kenny and Anna together would have come out better, but we always have Halloween to try again!

Kenny Enjoys wearing his costume almost everyday, multiple times a day! It is so cute to see him playing in it or watching tv in it!

I built Kenny a special fort to watch OSO in one morning, and all he did was sit on the outside on a chair supporting it! I tried to lure him in by putting some M&M's in it, but he sat on the outside and got them out by using his foot...that was the last fort I have built!

Cars is a must everyday! I'm really excited for Christmas because on of his presents is going to be a box of Cars that Gordon and I have been saving up!

And we also like to go to the park almost everyday...the weather is perfect, and Kenny has so much fun on the slide and the swing!

Here are just some pictures of Kenny and Anna playing together, now that she can sit, it is much easier for her to play with Kenny. I am such a happy mommy! Kenny and Anna are angels together; he has never even hit her once in his whole life, and she is such a chill baby, content to sit and play. I really got off easy with these two. Some of their favorite activities together include: blocks, basketball, and playing cars. In these pics, however, Kenny is playing with Anna while in his old walker, they are playing blocks, and Anna is tickling Kenny (or rather, touching him, and he laughs), and then they are playing on our bed togther. It is so fun to watch them!

Anna and Kenny love to play together. If he wants to shoot hoops, then I give her his old one that she sits and plays with, so they can both shoot. It was funny, the other day he said, "come on Anna, let's shoot hoops"...it was precious. They also love to play bocks together and play Kenny's keyboard...I cannot say enough about how fun it is to have two kids!

Anna is not a master of sitting yet, but she is well on her way! She sits so well and plays with her toys, she does, however, face plant once in awhile. We don't leave her sitting alone yet, but we do let her sit with out help.

Aunt Stacy has the domestic talent of sewing!!! She made Kenny these fashionable jammies awhile ago, and we just put him in them the other night. It's an off the shoulder number with Capri pants...just joking! It has to be hard to make something for someone when they are not there...Kenny loves his special PJ's from Aunt Stacy; he knows who there from, and he feels special when he wears them. 6 Month Check-Up

Anna had her 6 month check-up on Tuesday! I can't believe it's been 6 months...she is such a big girl! She is doing great, she rolls both ways and sits now, and sleeps very well. She grabs at EVERYTHING! She has lengthened and gained weight. Even with her weight gain, she dropped to the 50th percentile, but she is still well over the 95th percentile for her height. It really is amazing how oppisite her and Kenny are as babies; it is so fun to watch their differences. They still love each other so much, and Gordon and I love them both. We are so lucky to have such special babies.

Last Sunday I was extremely bored...sad, i know, so Gordon cheered me up by taking us all out to this park in Gilbert. It was really pretty and had lots of ducks and waterfalls. Kenny loved seeing the duck, and liked saying that the duck go, "quack quack". He is so cute!

A while ago Kenny, Gordon, and Aunt Stephanie went to the ASU opening football game, and they had a lot of fun. Kenny still talks about it: "Kenny scared of the fire", "daddy hold the Kenny", "I clap", and much more! I guess every time they scored a touchdown a lot of fireworks would go off, and Kenny did not like that! When he told me he was scared of the fire, I told him I was scared of the fire too, so now when he says he is scared of the fire he also informs me that I am scared of the fire, and so is the panda bear (from Kung Fu Panda)

My dad and Debbie, who are in Vegas, got Anna a cute little dress that Debbie has been wanting to see pictures of her in for a long time. The dress was a little big when we first got it, but now she is growing into it. So before Stake Conference we took some pics for her and my dad...here are a few of them!
Also Anna has FINALLY rolled over both ways now! She has rolled from her back to belly since three months, but not from belly to back till just a few days ago! Needless to say I was getting a little nervous, but am now happy to say that she has finally done it! Go Anna!

Solid Food

Cute Kenny story: Gordon was picking up Stephanie to babysit...thank you Steph!...and Gordon accelerated at the yellow light to go through, and as he did that Kenny said, "yeah, speed, I am speed", I love that child...and he loves Cars!

Anna has re-started solid food! We tried at 4 months, but she wasn't taking to it well, so we waited till now (5 months) to try again. I think she is still adjusting to digesting it, but she is doing better. The only thing she has had besides rice cereal is pears, and she loved it. She is a good eater. At 4 months she loved the rice cereal, taking the spoon and eating full bowls of it! She still loves it, and is starting to adjust to it well.

Mercury Game

About a month a nd a half ago Gordon surprised me with a five day weekend, and lots of fun things planned! Besides having him home for an extra three days, I had a great massage, We saw Harry Potter (on opening day), and he took me to a Mercury game! Thanks to Steph for watching the kids! It was so much fun! My favorite player (Diana Taurasi) plays for Pheonix, and they just happened to be playing against Sacramento, which has one of my other favorite players (Nichole Powell). We were in the second row on the floor level! Taurasi is number three and Powell is number fourteen, it was fun because they were gauding each other!

Check-ups

Kenny and Anna both had their check-ups at the beginning of the month-Kenny, 2 years; Anna, 4 months- and they are both doing really well. I had some concerns about Anna, but the doctor said everything is normal. I was really excited to have Kenny's height and weight checked as it has been awhile. Kenny is 37 inches (90%) and 27.5 pounds (25%). The doctor talked to us about how people will think he's older because he's taller..blah, blah, blah...she said the same thing last check-up. Anna is 26.5 inches long (95%) and 15.6 pounds (75%). She said her growth should start slowing down. My babies are getting so big, and I am having so much fun being a mother!

Kenny LOVES cooking/baking with me! His favorite part is, what else, eating the dough...I wonder where he got that from! On this particular day we are baking chocolate chip cookies and I had the first dozen in and he literally ate the rest of the dough, except for about 9 more cookies...the recipe is said to yeild 4 dozen (although it never makes that much, but still!) Needless to say I am not mom of the year, but Kenny had fun and no one got sick. I also added a pic of Anna, just because she is so cute!

Today has been wonderful! Gordon suprised me with taking a 5 day weekend! Plus we got tickets to a Mecury game...second row! and Harry Potter tonight...my husband is pretty amazing! This morning we went to breakfast and none of our children cried! We took some cute pics today. Anna has a head band on, which we never really put her in because her head is to small, but this one fit perfect, and I have to say it is pretty darn cute! I tried to post some of the different faces of Anna. I think my kids are definately cute enough to be models...except for the fact that they don't like the camera!

Yes, it is true, my daughter is a thumb sucker! It is so cute! She has been doing it a lot this week; I put her on the floor, do a few chores, come back, and she is there sucking away. When it's time for her to eat, sometimes it's hard to pry that thumb out of her mouth, luckily I don't have to worry about breaking that habit for a long time!

Ward Party!

So last night our ward had a pool party, and it was so much fun! I sat on the sidelineas with Anna, but Kenny and Gordon had a blast in the pool. Brimhall has a great kid pool, but Gordon got Kenny in the big pool, and for the first time Kenny swam ll by himself with no one holding him (he was still watched very closely)! Now this big pool is a normal 25 yard pool, and Kenny kicked two laps, there and back, all by himself! He also had fun playing with Aunt Sarah, cousin Aria, and Grandpa and cousin Kimber. He also loves those fountains that spray up, and I don't know where he learned it, probably from watching other kids, but he now sits on the fountain things! Here are some pics, Enjoy!

Here are just some pics of the kids. Anna is getting so big! She is now a little over three months and is very excited to see her Aunt Stacy again soon, and wishes she could she her Auntie Becca, Uncle Enoch, and cousin Emma. Kenny is just learning so much, he is speaking a lot more now, and is pretty clear in his speech, for the most part. He is a wonderful big brother who loves to play with Anna. So these pics are like 6 or 7 weeks old, but I never posted them, but these are some of Anna's first smiles...actually it's her second day of smiling. I know it looks goofy, but she was still perfecting those muscles! She smiles a lot easier than Kenny did, which is cool because in her baby blessing Gordon had mentioned her sense of humor helping the family, and it is such a blessing to start to see that so young and know that it is just going to get better!

For family home evening a couple of weeks ago we talked about the conference talk on covenants, and then we thought it would be fun to take Kenny to see the temple. He loves the temple, when we ask him what song he wants to sing he says temple, so we always sing "I love to see the temple". He had fun, he wanted to go in the water, but we told him that it was Jesus's special water and that he couldn't go in it. He did get a little out of control at the end, so we had to cut the visit short, but it was pretty fun to take the kids there. On the way home Kenny kept talking about "Jesus home" it was really cute.

Kenny had a really fun birthday, we had a Cars party. The Wilhelm's, Grandpa, great grandma and Lyla and her kids all came. We had snacks and the kids played play dough and balloons, and of course there were presents. His favorite present was a big Sheriff from Cars that grandma and grandpa and sarah got him, he also liked his tricycle, which was his gift from me and Gordon. We will post more pics later. Kenny has transitioned to a toddler bed and is doing very well. He only got up from bed the first two nights. The first time he scared us because we just woke up to him standing right next to our bed silently in the dark. He loves his "Pa-Chow!" bed.

Kenny LOVES to hold his sister Anna. He is very protectiver her, no one is allowed to touch anything that's hers. He is such a good big brother.

Kenny has been such a good big brother! (so far...:) He loves to go up to Anna and say "Hi Anna!". He always talks to her and loves to show her his toys. He hasn't acted jealous or sad at all so far. Last Day as an Only Child

On Saturday Gordon, Kenny and I went to Scottsdale to Railroad Park. Kenny loves trains, and had a lot of fun. We had a Taco Bell and chocolate milk picnic, and then rode the little train they have around the park. It was really fun and only cost like two dollars. The pictures are really cute...Kenny is crying in one because that was when we had to get off the train, but otherwise he was a happy man!

St. Patrick's Zoo Trip

On St. Patrick's Day Gordon had to work, so Kenny went on a lovely trip to the zoo with his grandma and aunties! I would have gone, but I am big with child...so I stayed home and got some nice cleaning done! I did call to check up every hour though, because it was the first time Kenny had been out without one of his parents, and I was nervous. Ends up he had a great time. From what I heard he liked the giraffe's, because he thought they were playing basketball! (Look at their food trough in the tree, looks like a basketball hoop to Kenny) And he also had a great time eating St. Patrick's Day cookies with Aunt Stacy, and the gift shop with Grandma. Enjoy the picks that Grandma took!

Bye Bye Sheriff

Today at pack meeting (Gordon is cubmaster) they had three people talk about careers. The last person to talk was a cop, and after his talk all the kids got to see his cop car. Kenny is a big fan of the movie, "Cars", and was way excited to see the "sheriff". Right after the prayer he ran out the door to the car and didn't stop crying until he got to go inside of it! At the end when the cop left, Kenny waved bye and said, "bye bye sheriff", and then kept saying it all night. It was really cute! we didn't get any pictures because it was dark, so we just put some random pictures up because you have to have pics to go with a blog.

All-Star Weekend

So this blog is kind of late, but oh well! For Valentine's Day Gordon took me and Kenny to the NBA All-Star practice and Jam Session. Kenny enjoyed the basketball and the kid play area; it was a lot of fun. Here are some pics of Kenny from Valentine's Day in Pheonix! Enjoy!

The Kenny on the Bus Says...

Kenny has been learning a couple of new songs lately. The first one is "The Wheels on the Bus" song, but we changed the words, and we think Kenny enjoys it. The second song Gordon wrote for Kenny (coming to truesongwriter.blogspot.com soon), and Kenny has started singing it too, it is way cute. In case you don't understand Kenny's talking, in the first song he is saying, "basketball", and in the second song he is saying, "I want to run".

So Kenny has been growing up so much lately, and I just wanted to update everyone on his recent achievements! A few weeks ago Gordon decided, and I thought it was a good idea too, that Kenny was ready to be added into the rotation of family prayers at night. It is just so precious to hear him pray. Of course he can't say a whole prayer, but we say a line into his ear and he repeats the last word. For example: "Thankful for Jesus", and he says "Jesus". "Thankful for church", and he says "church". He is doing so well at prayer time to because he is more involved.
Kenny also learned a new phrase this week: "I want...", you fill in the blank! "I want cheese", "I want out", "I want the vroom" (Cars). If I thought he was demanding before, it is nothing compared to now! It's really funny because a few days ago Gordon thought it was so cute, which it is, but he got his first taste of it today. I was taking a bath, and when I got out, I asked why Kenny was crying so much, and Gordon said that every 10 seconds he wants something! Ha!
That is the latest on my little boo boo!

My Big Fat Greek Restaurant

So Gordon and I found that we had some extra money, and decided to go out as a family to dinner. There is this really cute Greek place that is also really yummy! Kenny sat next to Gordon which gave me a break from feeding Kenny. It was really fun and Kenny enjoyed all the good food...and daddy's root beer!

SuperBowl Bound Cardinals

Chris and Gordon had a chance to go to the Cardinals first playoff game in Phoenix against the Falcons, a couple of Saturdays ago. Thought I'd put up a few pictures. He took pictures before the game, then got wrapped up in the game and didn't take any more. It was an awesome game! Now the cards are going to the super bowl. Go Cards!!!

How to Change a Diaper!

Kenny hates diaper changes! So I had to get clever...I changed the words to this old rap song (which I never actually listened to, it's just well known) and Kenny loved it! He started to finish the song for me...it is way cute. Don't worry, nothing inappropriate appears in this video.

My Wonderful Husband

Becca has hit me with a husband tag...but I don't mind, who doesn't like talking about their wonderful husband?! So here goes:

1. How and Where did you meet your husband?

I met Gordon in January at work, the ROC, a place of romance! Ha! He was wearing a KINGS shirt, and I went up to him and said hi and he shook my hand. Then we didn't talk again till the stake Valentines dance, where he asked me to dance. And that's how it started!

2. What was your first date?
What I thought was our first date was to "Our Town", it was a very weird play, but with very nice company! Gordon, however, informs me that we went on a few dates before that, but I just didn't think of them as dates!

3. When and How did you know he was the guy you wanted to marry?

I guess when he went away for the summer and all we did was talk on the phone I knew I could easily love him. There was really no specific time or place. It all happened pretty fast, I mean, we dated and everything about him was perfect, and we had a great time together, and had the same goals, and things just keep getting better! There's no way anyone could not want to marry him!

4. How did he propose?
He wrote me song and played it on the piano, then he took me to the beach. He said he needed his jacket and went to the car, but came back with no jacket, but with a ring! It was really amazing and beautiful. He didn't think it went off well, but I loved it!

5. How long did you date before you got married?
We met in January, started dating in April, got engaged in Sept. and married in Dec.
-I know what you're thinking...a perfect year...but you're wrong, every year gets better!

6. How long have you been married?

Just celebrated 3 years last month!

7. What does he do to surprise you?

Gordon loves to spend money! He loves presents, so that's what he does! It is really sweet. He is so creative with his gifts! He also gives me massages...which is my favorite!
8. What is your favorite feature of his?

I love everything about him! I guess I really love his big beautiful brown eyes! And I love that he is so tall, and can wrap his long arms around me.

9. What are your favorite qualities?

I love that he is so sweet. He helps with Kenny a lot and knows how to comfort me when I am down. I also love that he still writes me songs, it makes me feel so loves.

10. Does he have a nickname for you?

Not really..Honey, maybe.

11. What is his favorite food?

Enchiladas

12. What is his favorite sport?

BASKETBALL!

13. When and where did you first kiss?
Our first kiss happened a few days before he left for the summer outside of my apartment door.

14. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?

We love to go on our dates every week...dinner, movies, shopping...I love doing anything with him.

15. Do you have children?
Kenny is almost 19 months, and he will soon have a little sister, Anna, coming in March!

16. Does he have any hidden talents?

He is basically good at everything...sports, music, and he is the smartest person I know...but none of those are hidden talents...I guess I would say that his hidden talent is that he is a really good cook!

17. How old is he?

25!

18. Who said I love you first?

He did, outside of the Snow one night, I said it back the next day.

19. What is his favorite music?

He likes all different types of music, right now he loves Linkin Park's song, Leave Out All the Rest.

20. What do you admire most about him?

He is so nice to everyone, I need to work on that!

21. What is his favorite color?

North Carolina blue
