9 Month Check-up!

My little Anna cakes is 9 months today! She had her check-up this morning- no shots, yay! But they did prick her toe and take some blood to check iron levels. She did such a good job throughout the check-up, better then Kenny ever does, at least! She is 17 lbs 8oz (25%), and 29.25 inches long (95%) and her head is at 50%. She is our big girl! Currently she is crawling like a pro, and even trying to pull herself up. Gordon walked in one morning to find her standing in her crib and crying, she got starltled when Gordon walked in and fell down, pretty cute. She is starting real human food, she eats anything! And she is one tough cookie. Last night she feel and got a bloody nose with the babysitter and didn't cry (I freaked out a bit when I heard the report), and a few nights ago while I was bathing her she totally fell face first in the tub and rolled over (don't worry, I got her), I almost freaked out, whipped her up into my lap, and was about to cuddle her when I realized she was reaching for the drain to play with it again! She's a doll; she loves music and dancing (yes, she bops up and down!) We love our little angel and am so happy she is ours! Some 9 month pics:

Gordon got a robot bug from his parents. It ran at Kenny and trapped him by the door. Kenny was screaming and running trying to get away from it, when he was trapped he picked it up and threw it exclaiming that he is scared!

Christmas Pictures

On Sunday the kids wore their Christmas outfits, and Isabelle took some great pictures of us together. The pictures turned out great, we are so lucky to have such a talented sister! Thanks Isabelle!

I love this one. Anna started fussing and Kenny is giving her a hug telling her it's going to be ok, he really is just to sweet to her!

 

All of us together. After church I had to reset the primary chairs, and by the time I got out to take pictures with the family, Kenny was pretty much done with the whole picture thing, but we still tried anyway.

At our ward party Santa made an appearance!! Anna didn't know what was going on, but Kenny was very excited to see Santa... that is until he got too close.

Kenny is pretty advanced for his age, he is reading the Lightning Theif, a book we highly recommend! As you can tell, he's way into it!

Pool Fun!

During Thanksgiving week, everyone went swimming at our pool in the apartments. It was cool out, definately not swimming weather, but the pool was heated, so it was ok.

Mommy and Anna sat out on the side, too cold for mommy and Anna to swim!

 

Anna and I had lots of fun watching our men in the pool!

 

In case you are wondering, yes, Kenny is wearing two swim suits! He likes to wear both, and I like to help encourage his creative side by letting him choose what he wants to wear. He cracks me up!

 

 

Costco

So my wonderful husband, Gordon, made a late Costco run for me (I forgot about the food for the activity) while I finished painting some cars for the primary activity. He took the kids and got some really adorable pictures of them in the cart. Enjoy!
