We're having a GIRL!
So it's been awhile since we have posted! We found out last week that we are having a girl! We are way excited....we get to buy everything all over again! Gordon and I both love to shop, so we are having a lot of fun. her name is going to be Anna Noel Garner. Gordon is thrilled about the name...I just hope he remembers my generosity if we have another girl! On our date this week, we went to a Mommy and Me type store and bought some cute things; it is so fun watching Gordon pick out her clothes. I don't think Kenny knows quite what is going on. He knows what babies are and that our baby is in the belly, but I don't think he knows that it's coming out in 20 short weeks! That's right...I'm half way done with being pregnant!! Woohoo!!! Kenny is getting so big and smart! He has a vocabulary of 40 words! And is learning some more every week. Yesturday he starting using the phrase, "all done"! It is so darling! He said it after dinner, I asked if he was all done, and he said it...and then said it again...and again! We were babysitting last night a little 13 month old from our ward (we finally found a trade off person for date night...but that will soon change once Chris and Izzy move here!) ad Kenny loves her! He would pet he head softly and try to feed her pudding! Kenny loves playing with other babies. He is always pointing to the door saying, " baby". It's really funny because when we go to the park on Wednesdays he ditches the babies and tries to play with the three year olds, he only likes the babies when it's his only choice! Anyways, life is great, Gordon and I are really excited to see everyone for the holidays!

Kenny's First Suns Game!
Last night we obtained tickets to a Pheonix Suns pre-season game. A member of the bishopric we assume is a season ticke holder, and he couldn't make it to the game, so he offered us the tickets. Now, I'm not very spontaneous, but Gordon really wanted to go, so we went. Kenny tagged along for the game too because it was way to late to get a babysitter, and he absolutely loved it! He would not peel his eyes away from the court...not even to take pictures! Every few seconds Kenny pointed to the court and said, "ball", it was so darling! I was kind of in a bitter mood because I didn't really want to go, but Gordon and Kenny loved it, and it was fun for me too. Sometimes I think I can be way to selfish and only think about myself, and I know that I'm being that way, but I don't change it at the time....I feel bad sometimes that Gordon has to put up with me...he is way to nice. Anyways, it was so fun to see Kenny having such a great time! The Suns ultimately lost to the Hawks...but I kind of wanted the Hawks to win anyway because I am still a Bibby fan! We left in the middle of the third quarter, so we didn't see the Hawks run to comeback, but it was nice to finally get to sleep! Our first family Suns game was really fun, hopefully there will be more to come...and thanks to Becca for gettin us un-lost while we were lost in downtown Pheonix!

"Bom Baby"
So Kenny has been learning so many new words lately, and understanding the words we say to him, even if he can't say them yet...it's really fun and exciting! Anyways, yesturday whily Gordon was giving Kenny a bath he was trying to teach Kenny the word "boom". the logic behind this idea was that Kenny could learn a new phrase; see, he already knows the word "baby", so Gordon wanted him to learn the phrase, "boom baby"...like Kuzco, from Emperor's new groove. Kenny can't quit say "boom", but he does say "bom". So Kenny has been going around the house saying "bom" at everything...it is way cute! Sometimes he say "da bom", "da" is his word for "the", anyways, it really funny because when he says, "da bom", it sounds like he is saying that old phrase, "da bomb". So I guess this was a long and pointless blog, but I thought it was cute!
PS-I hope everyone is excited for Conference, and Christmas...it's going to be way fun!

Another Kenny Milestone...According to Dad!
In Kenny's room next to his crib is a basketball poster of Michael Jordan. When Kenny wakes up, or he is playing in his room, he likes to point at it and say, "ball". About a week ago Gordon told Kenny that the poster was of Michael Jordan. This morning after breakfast Gordon asked Kenny, "Where's Michael Jordan?" Kenny paused and spun around, went to his room and pointed at the poster. Needless to say, Gordon was very happy that Kenny knows who Michael Jordan is! It was pretty cool. He is getting so smart and remembering lots of things...our little boy is growing up!

Mommy and Kenny's check-ups!
Last Tuesday Kenny had his 15 month check-up! He is such a big boy now! Kenny is now weighing in at 22lbs (10-25%) and is 33 inches long (75-80%) and still has a big head too! He had three shots and was so good, cried of course, but good nonetheless. I think that he may have a couple more teeth popping in soon because he has been extra sensitive the last few days, which is really tyring to mom's patience! Also on Tuesday I had my sonogram appointment!!!! It was really exciting to see the new baby. It's coming in at 3 1/2 inches long! Also, now I am officailly in my second trimester, woohoo! 6 more months till Kenny has a new sibling and Gordon and I have our new baby! Status on name goes as follows: Girl is either Anna Noel or Sidney Jane, but probably Anna because Gordon doesn't like the name Sidney. Boys, well, it's kind of scattered there, but we like Peter, James, Jack (Gordon's pick), and my personal favorite, Patton, which comes from Fablehaven.

Bloody Nose!
Kenny officially got his first bloody nose yesturday! We were swimming with gordon's mom and two youngest sisters. Gordon was working, but was to get home shortly and join us. When Kenny saw Goron coming he ran a little to fast for himself and fell and got a bloody nose, it was so sad, but he was a trooper and hardly cried at all when daddy got in to hold him.Kenny loves to swim and jump off the ledge into our arms. Hoopefully we can post some pics of us swimming, I unfortunately don't know how to do that, but Gordon does, so I'll ask him to do it when he gets home. Oh yeah, Gordon got another call from Lockheed Martin about a different position, but we are not getting our hopes up...even though he is the smartest, funniest, coolest, and cutest software engineer ever!!!

Gordon made some new videos of Kenny which are sooo cute! One of them, Kenny Contender, is on our blogspot, we should put the other one up too. Football season has started. Gordon, Brandon, Amber, Barry and I make picks every week which is really fun, the only down side is we watch a lot of football...although Gordon has been really good so far. Gordon did not get the job at Lockheed Martin, so he was upset about that, but at least he has a job! Our new apartment is great, we were starting to get a lot of crickets, but we got signed up to be sprayed, woohoo! Kenny is learning and growing so fast! He loves swimming in the pool, he jumps in and Gordon catches him. He also loves to say "turtle" now, it's an animal in one of his books. He is refusing to nap at the moment, which is not making mommy to happy. The pregnancy is going really well, I get a sonogram next week! We don't really have any big things planned in the near future...sorry, our life is boring, but at least were happy! Plans have been starting about Thanksgiving and Christmas...but who knows what will happen! Well, that's all that has been going on.

My cute little man!
Yesterday I was at homemaking and Gordon had Kenny. Gordon, Kenny, and I drove to Gordon's mom's house where I left with Gordon's mom and sister. Gordon then drove home with Kenny. Gordon related the sweetest story to me when I got home: When Gordon and Kenny got home Kenny went walking around the house calling for "mama", thinking I might be home. When he realized I was not home, he went into the bedroom and took my green shirt off the bed and carried it with him the whole night and called it mama! I thought that was the sweetest thing! It's always nice to get hugs and kisses from your baby, but I thought that carrying my shirt was so cute. He even went to bed with it! My little boy is so darling!

First time blogger!
Ever since Elder Ballard's speech at graduation Gordon and I have wanted to start a blog. We are really excited to be able to keep updated and in touch with all our family this way! So lets see what has been happening with us lately...Gordon had an interview with Lockheed Martin last week, which we are still waiting to hear back on. We moved into our new apartment, and we absolutely love it! We are basically unpacked except for two boxes in the kitchen which I'm to lazy to do! Today I had a really embarassing moment, I thought I saw a frog in our apartment, so I called maintenance, and it turned out to be a rock Kenny brought in from outside! I had my first doctor's appointment for the new baby yesturday! No sonogram yet, not for another three weeks! So that is the update on our life.
